Shirva: Tempo – Bike accident at Bantakal, Bike rider dies

Shirva, 24 May 2011: Bike coming from Shankarapura and Tempo loaded with aggregate (Jalli) coming from Bantakal to Katapadi collided near Salmara and the bike rider died on the spot on Monday evening at about 06.30 pm. Bike rider is Dany Cardoza (28 years) a resident of Bantakal Arasina Katte, was trying to over take a bus, but crashed to the tempo coming from front side. The bike got stuck to tempo and with the pull it fell into a pond 20 meter away.
Dany Cardoza was married two years ago and has been working along with his wife in Kuwait, they have one year old child. They came home on vacation recently. This kind of tragic death has drowned the entire family into the sea of grief. Dany Cardoza was the son of Arasina Katte Gilbert Cardoza and Jesintha Cardoza. Shirva Police Sub Inspector and the team had visited the accident spot and have registered the case and cleared the traffic.
