Kumta gas tanker explosion: Death toll rises to 2

 

Kumta, 02 Sep 2015: The gas tanker explosion that took place in Kumta yesterday has claimed one more life today, with the death toll in the incident going upto two.

 

 

The explosion that took place at Botkolli of Bargi village in Kumta on September 1 left 14 people injured of which 8 perople are yet said to be in a crtical condition.The victims had been admitted to Manipal hospital where they are currently undergoing treatment.

 

The condition of other five people injured in the accident including the driver of the tanker is said to be stable. The driver who had suffered a fracture to his right leg, underwent surgical treatment last night at the hospital.
