Udupi: Motor Cyclist critically injured in tipper truck collision at Tokoli, Belle GP

Udupi, 20 Mar 2015: A motor cyclist was critically injured when a tipper truck collided with motorcycle in front of Tokoli bus stand, at the limits of Belle gram panchayat (GP), near here on Friday March 20 at 11.00am.
Thirty-seven-year-old Rajesh Acharya was the critically injured motorcyclist who was on his duty to work at a jeweler’s shop in Udupi.
The sources informed that the tipper trucks owned by Navyug Company were transporting soil to the construction works of Udyavar bridge, near here. The reckless driving and over speeding whilst retuning from site caused the tragedy.
The locals urge the police to curb the marauding truck drivers who ply on Moodubelle – Udupi road disregarding traffic rules.
