Critically injured motorcyclist dies at KMC Hospital, Manipal

Udupi, 21 Mar 2015: Thirty-five-year-old Rajesh Acharya, motorcyclist who was critically injured in a ghastly road mishap when a tipper truck owned by Navyug Constructions, contractor of road works, rammed his motorcycle at nearby Tokoli bus stand on Udupi – Moodubelle Road, near here on Friday March 20 passed away in KMC Hospital, Manipal, here on Saturday March 21.
Rajesh is survived by his wife Savita and a toddler son.
Meanwhile, the locals urge the law enforcement agencies to keep a check on marauding truck drivers as they threaten other motorists since Rajesh had already become victim of their reckless driving.
ZP president Savita Shivanand Kotian visited the grieving family of Rajesh.
