Udupi: Marauding truck collides with Maruti Omni at Alevoor; driver critical

Udupi, 24 Jun 2015: A driver of Maruti Omni was critically injured when a marauding tipper truck head-on collided on Udupi – Alevoor Road, near here on Wednesday June 24 at about 5.00pm.
 
Meanwhile, the truck driver intended to speed away the truck by reversing, but it got stuck in the mud.  However, the truck driver fearing his life fled from the scene abandoning the truck.

 

 
The injured Maruti Omni driver has been admitted in a city hospital by the Samaritans.
