Kota: 3 Children drowned in Achladi River in Shiriyara Grama

Kota, 22 February 2012: In a tragic incident the 3 children who went to the river to take bath got drowned and died on Monday evening. The deceased children are identified as Kartik (12), Kowshik (11) and Gowtham (8). Kartik and Kowshik are from Tamilnadu origin labourer Thangapanna a resident of Achladi. Gowtham is his brother’s son.

 


 
They had holiday for school on the occasion of Shivarathri, so in the evening at 5.00 pm they went to the river next to the Ganapathi Temple. When Gowtham got drowned with the water current the elder children Karthik and Kowshik tried to rescue him, but they too got drowned and died.


 
All the three were living in a same house with their parents and upon hearing the news they came running. Police had come to the spot and have registered the case.
