Katapadi, 05 June 20110: “Temple sculpture and art has been immortalised in Hindu temples by the Vishwakarma Community”, said Shree Vishwatheertha Swamiji, the chief pontiff of the Udupi Pejawar Mutt. He was speaking on the occasion of the Pattabhisheka (coronation) ceremony of Katapadi Shrimat Anegundi Samsthana Belagutthi Mutt Shree Kalahastendra Saraswati Mahaswamiji on Friday, 4th june 2010 in the gathering of the ‘sants’ (santa sabhe) at Shree Nagadharmendra Swami Sabhavedike. Shree Kalahastendra Saraswati Swamiji is the religious head of the entire Vishwakarma community in India.
The occasion was graced by Shree Vidyaprasanna Theertha Swamiji of Shree Subramanya Mutt, Shree Narasimhashrama Swamiji of Hangrakatte Shree Balekudru, Shree Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji of Shree Pejawara Mutt, Shree Gurudevananda Swamiji of Odiyur Shree Kshetra, Shree Ramananda Swamiji of Shree kshetra Kolya, Shree Yogananda Saraswati Swamiji of Kondeyuru Nityananda Yogashrama, Shree Vikhyatananda Swamiji of Shree Kshetra Balyottu, Shree Muktananda Swamiji of Shree Kshetra Karinje, Shree Karunakara Swamiji of Tumkuru Deepambudhi Shree Kalikamba temple Huliyuru presented the Ashirvachana.
The programme was compeered by Damodar Sharma. Biliyaru Ganapati Acharya welcomed the gathering, Purohita Shridhara Sharma recited the stotra prayer and Kadabettu Nagaraja Acharya proposed the vote of thanks.
