Pernal: ICYM conducts Quiz Competition as part of Monthi Festh

Pernal, 10 Sep 2012: As a part of Nativity feast, Quiz competition was held in the church hall at 3 pm on 9 September 2012. ICYM Pernal conducted the competition. Seven wards of the parish participated in this competition. The quiz consisted of several rounds of questions from  Bible, Konkani Literature, Sports, Diocese and Our Church, General Knowledge, Current Affairs and Rapid Fire.

 

 

Following the end of the quiz competition, the quiz team form St. Joseph’s ward was declared as winner and from  Infant Jesus ward as the runners up.

 

The quiz competition was successful only due to the presence of audience and by the support of ICYM, Pernal members. Rev Fr.Gregory Serrao has been always a supportive of all such co-curricular activities. Jane Quadras, President of the ICYM welcomed the gathering, Ryna proposed vote of thanksand Clinton Mendonca compeered the programme.
