Moodubelle: Monthi Festh celebration in St. John the Baptist II

Moodubelle, 24 Sep 2012: The Ward level Monthi Festh was observed in St. John the Baptist II Ward on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at 12 noon at the residence of Mrs. Imilia Noronha.


Mrs. Gladys Rebello welcomed the gathering and children of the ward welcomed the members by offering each a rose. After the prayer service, children and grown ups showered flowers on the statue of Mother Mary.



The programme was attended by Fr. Lancy Saldanha, Fr. Paul Sequeira, Sisters from the Loreto Convent, Convener of the Small Christian Community, Mr. Ignatius Monis. Ms. Theresa Lobo, gurkarn of St. John the Baptist I Ward.


Fr. Lancy, Fr. Paul and Ignatius Monis conveyed the wishes of the feast to the ward members. The members of the ward presented two skits. Games and singing were other important attractions of the celebration. The celebration ended with vegetarian meal  sponsored by the host of the programme Mrs. Imilia Noronha. Melisha Rebello compeered the entire programme.
