Dubai: SFX Kutam Mudarangadi celebrated Monthi Fest

Dubai, 22 Sep 2012: SFX KUTAM UAE, the association uniting parishioners of Mudarangadi in the U.A.E. celebrated Monthifest at Winny’s Restaurant Karama, Dubai on Friday, September 21.

 

The event took off at 7.30pm with welcome by Anil Prakash Dsouza. Children venerated the statue of Maria Bambina with flowers and all sang traditional hymns Sokkod Sangatam Mellyam and Moriek Hogollsiyam. Asha Mathias & team recited the starting prayers. President Jhonson DSilva addressed the gathering. Visiting Priest Fr.Federick from Naynad church near Madantyar church attended the programme and blessed the occasion.

 

Leslie and team presented a few hilarious skits and children gave some scintillating dance performances. Anil Prakash Dsouza took charge of the entire proceedings with grace and glamour. Jay Dsouza was the DJ. As part of their fundraiser programme, lucky coupon booklets were distributed. As every year, the vegetarian meal was served.The event which was attended by a sizeable crowd of over 80 was unique and entertaining this year too.
