Shirva: Rotary Family Get-Together in Padukere

Shirva, 06 March 2012: Human is a wonderful creation of God. Simple living and broad thinking is the nature of Indian soil. Human is expressive, likes to live in a group and thinks about others. The Indian culture was shaped by the Rushis. Money, wealth and richness are not the symbol of the greatness of a person, they are not permanent. Love, liking and humanity are the steps of richness, said Rotary International District 3180 Chaturvidha Test Committee District President Sastan Ibrahim Saheb.
He was speaking as the Chief Guest in the “Rotary Family Get-Together” held in Manoor Padukere near Kota at the place of Padoor Dr. N.S. Shetty, conducted by Shirva Rotary on Sunday. Speaking further he said, when the nature of giving is adopted we deserve receiving. Rotary strengthens the relationships, and increases the thinking towards the society and increases the richness of heart, he said. He also gave away the prizes to the winners and congratulated them.
The program was presided over by Rotary President Ronald Sequeira. Rotary Zonal Deputy Governor K.R. Patkar and Dr. N.S. Shetty Padoor spoke about the Rotary relationship. B. Pundalika Marathe in his introductory note introduced the guests. Secretary Leo Noronha and Lucas D’Souza were on the dias. Members Khalik and Dr. Gururaj compeered the program. William Machado conducted various competitions. Raghupathi Aythal compeered the program and also proposed vote of thanks.
