Udupi: Sode Mutt Seer to take over Krishna Pooja Paryaya

Udupi, 01 October 2011: The next 2 year Krishna Pooja Paryaya at Shri Krishna Mutt will be taken over by Sode Mutt Seer Shri Vishwavallabha Theertha on 18th January 2012. Paryayothsava Swagatha Committee has been formed for this occasion. Chief Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda who is also the MP of Udupi will be the Honorary President of this Committee and District In charge Minister Dr. V.S. Acharya will be the President of this Committee.
 
The preliminary meeting for this occasion was conducted in the presence of Shree Vishwavallaba Theertha at Sode Mutt. Speaking in the meeting Seer said that this will be his first Paryaya and he wished that all the devotees of Shri Krishna cooperate to make the 2 years of Paryaya successful. Minister Dr. V.S. Acharya who was in the meeting said that, the state government is keen to provide all kind of cooperation for the Paryayothsava, and wished success of the event.

 

 
In the meeting, former MLA U.R. Sabhapathi, entrepreneurs; Pramod Madhvaraj, Thallur Shivaram Shetty, Raghunatha Shet, Pradip Kalkura, Fishing Federation President Yashpal Suvarna, Municipal Corporation President Kiran Kumar, Honourable devotees of the Mutt; Gopalakrishna Samaga, Koni Vasudeva Shet, Ratnakumar, U.K. Raghavendra Rao, M. Krishna Bhat, Dr. Mohandas Bhat, Kishor Bagalodi, Prof. Revankar, Vadiraja Acharya, Suhas Shenoy and Ashta Mutt Divana, were present.
 
Mutt Divana Padigaru Shrinivasa Thantri welcomed. Nippani Gururaja Thantri presented introductory speech. Vadiraja Acharya compeered the program. Madvesh Thantri proposed vote of thanks.
