Sweet and Sour Chilly Chicken

Ingrediants:
- One and half kilogram chicken cut into small pieces
- One big onion
- One green, one red and one yellow capsicum
- One bunch parsley or coriander leaves
- One inch long ginger, eight to ten cloves of garlic, two green chillies, two table spoon soya sauce, one table spoon vinegar, one table spoon sugar, one table spoon corn flower, two table spoons oil, half cup milk cream (optional)and quarter teaspoon red food colour (optional)
- For marinating chicken: two table spoon ginger-garlic paste, one table spoon bafat masala, one cup thick curd and salt as per taste.
Description:
- Marinate the chicken with the ingredients for marinating shown above and keep it for one hour.
- Keep the chicken for cooking on medium fire in a vessel on one burner. On another burner keep the kadai and pour oil and add finely cut ginger, garlic and chilly.
- After frying the contents for one minute add medium cut onion and the capsicum of three different colours mentioned above cut into one inch square pieces.
- Add soya sauce, sugar and vinegar and salt as per taste.
- Fry the contents for two minutes and pour the cooked chicken in the kadai and mix the contents.
- Mix the corn flower in a cup with little water and also add the red colour to it.
- Pour this mixture over the chicken in the kadai.
- When the contents in the kadai start boiling add the milk cream and the finely cut parsley or coriander leaves and put off the fire.
