Sweet and Sour Chilly Chicken

  • Marinate the chicken with the ingredients for marinating shown above and keep it for one hour.
  • Keep the chicken for cooking on medium fire in a vessel on one burner.  On another burner keep the kadai and pour oil and add finely cut ginger, garlic and chilly.
  • After frying the contents for one minute add medium cut onion and the capsicum of three different colours mentioned above cut into one inch square pieces.
  • Add soya sauce, sugar and vinegar and salt as per taste.
  • Fry the contents for two minutes and pour the cooked chicken in the kadai and mix the contents.
  • Mix the corn flower in a cup with little water and also add the red colour to it.
  • Pour this mixture over the chicken in the kadai.
  • When the contents in the kadai start boiling add the milk cream and the finely cut parsley or coriander leaves and put off the fire.
