West Bengal Governor visits Krishna temple

Udupi, 08 September 2010: Governor of West Bengal and former National Security adviser M.K. Narayanan visited the Sri Krishna Math/Temple here on Monday and offered prayers.

 

He came to Udupi to deliver fourth leadership lecture on “India’s engagement with the world” at Chaitya Hall in Valley View on Tuesday. The programme is being organised by the T.A. Pai Management Institute.

Mr. Narayanan also met Lakshmivara Tirtha Swamiji of Paryaya Shiroor Math and received “mantrakshate” from him, a press release issued by the math said.
