Wild Fire Destroys Forest Land in Moodubelle

Moodubelle, 19 March 2013: Several acres of forest that is located a furlong away from St Lawrence College, Moodubelle, near here was gutted in a wild fire on Sunday March 17 evening.
The fire fighters from city fire brigade arrived within-in 20 minutes of reporting the wild fire at about 6.00pm on Sunday.
The fire fighters took nearly one-hour to fully extinguish the fire and averted fire spreading to nearby private properties. No loss of injuries and major damages to adjacent properties were reported.
The cause of fire is yet to be ascertained.
