Session on Cracking the Nursing Entrance Exam held in St. Lawrence Church, Moodubelle

Udupi/M’Belle: A session on "Cracking the Nursing Entrance Exam: Strategies for Success" was held for YCS members on March 30, 2025, at 8:45 AM, with Ms Laveena Barboza, Faculty at Manipal College of Nursing, as the resource person.
The event was graced by Fr. Rikson Monteiro, Assistant Director of YCS, along with YCS Animators Dr Judith A. Noronha, Ms. Nikitha Rebello and Youth coordinator Mr Valerian Noronha.
The session covered key aspects, including:
Understanding the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) and exam strategies.
Preparing through mock tests and syllabus-based study.
Insights into other nursing entrance exams, including CET for RGUHS.
Solving sample aptitude test questions to enhance analytical skills.
First-year PUC students were encouraged to stay focused and set clear academic goals. The resource person also shared details on MAHE facilities and scholarships.
The interactive session saw active student participation. Rishal Mascarenhas compered the program and the event concluded with a memento presentation and the YCS Anthem.
