Pamboor: International Athlete Pramila Pinto honoured

Pamboor, 18 August 2011: Pramila Pinto student of Pamboor Manasa Rehabilitation and Training Centre, who won gold and bronze medals in Special Olympics held at Athens recently, was honoured by Rev. Fr. Charles Luis – Parish Priest of Pamboor Holy Cross Church and Fredrick D’Souza – Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council, during the “St. Lawrence ward fest” program.

 

 

 

The program was held at the residence of Ligory Menezes Pamboor. Ward Gurkar Henry Menezes welcomed the guests and the gathering. Secretary Jenevin Noronha read the progress report on the activities and achievements of the ward. Lydia D’Souza compeered the program. Secretary Jesintha D’Souza, Shirva Rotary Secretary Leo Noronha were present on the occasion. Albert Noronha proposed vote of thanks. In the programs prayers were held and then concluded with the cultural programs.
