Belmannu, Karkala, 08 June 2011: In Belmannu Grama, at a place called Janthra, a Lorry cleaner died by the wooden log falling on him. The deceased is local resident Dinesh. On Monday morning at 9.00 am the wooden logs belonging to Steven D’Souza were being loaded on the lorry by Dilip D’Souza and others.

 

At that time one wooden log dropped down and the lorry cleaner Dinesh got caught under the log and he had severe head injury. Immediately he was taken to the hospital, but Dilip passed away on the way. On this incident as per the complaint given by Dilip D’Souza a case is registered in Karkala Police Station.
