On the occasion of the Navaratri celebrations, the students of the Chitrakala prepared various sand sculptures on the Kaup Beach that attracted the attention of many people.

 

 

In order to pressurize the authorities to repair the road leading to the fishermen’s colony at Pithrodi under the Udyavara  Grama Panchayat, Yuvaka Mandala and the Auto-rickshaw owners and drivers organized a symbolic ‘Road-block’ in the Udyavara township.

 

 

In the historic Agrahara Virasthambha Shri Durgaparamaeshwari temple at Yenegudde Katapadi Chandikayaga and Mahaannasantarpane will take place on 15th October 2010.
