Lions Club, Barkur long with National ITI organize Blood Donation Camp

Udupi: The Lions Club Barkur, in collaboration with National ITI and the Indian Red Cross Society Blood Bank, Kundapur, organized a Blood Donation Camp at our institute today.
The event was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the President of The Barkur Educational Society, Mr. B. Shantaram Shetty. The program was presided over by the President of the Lions Club, Mr. Srinivas Shetty, a retired professor.
The Principal of NITI Barkur Prof Kramadhari extended a warm and cordial welcome to all the dignitaries and participants. Mr. Udaya Kumar Shetty, Secretary of the Lions Club Barkur, proposed the vote of thanks. Retired Principal B. Seetharam Shetty delivered an insightful talk on the significance of blood donation, emphasizing its importance in saving lives.

The event saw enthusiastic participation with more than 60 units of blood which was a meaningful contribution to the noble cause of saving lives through blood donation.
NITI Principal, Staff and Management made excellent arrangements to motivate both students and public in this yeomen service to be successful one.
