Keep away from Caste based politics – MP Jayaprakash Hegde

Dubai, 22 April 2012: MP Mr. Jayaprakash Hegde said that we must keep away from caste based politics for the development of our society. The recently elected Udupi-Chikmagalur Loka Sabha MP requested while inaugurating the new branch of Fortune Boutique Hotel on Wednesday in Dubai.
Mr. Sarvotham Shetty (President, Karnataka Sangha Abu Dhabi) introduced the newly elected Mr. Jayaprakash Hegde who is a well-known people representative and won by a very big margin. He also highlighted his achievements and social work. All the honorary guests present on the occasion welcomed Mr. Hegde namely Mr. B.K. Yousef (President, Beary’s Cultural Forum), Mr. Raj Shetty (MD Rami International Hotel) and Mr. Praveen Kumar Shetty (Chairman Fortune Group of Hotel).
He was felicitated by Mr. Praveen Shetty (Chairman Fortune Group of Hotels). On receiving the honour Mr. Hegde shared his political experience and said in the remaining two years instead of visiting temples, he will work for the people and will try to fulfill his promises to the people and humbly work for his constituency. It has been proved that caste based politics will not win elections.
The discussions were held with Mr. Hegde by the representatives of various associations and one of the main concerns was that currently if a person who is below 10th standard Immigration Check is a must prior to his gulf journey for jobs. Currently people have to travel either to Mumbai, Hyderabad or Delhi to correct this. He was advised to arrange if possible to be done either in Mangalore or at least in Bangalore Immigration center. Many other topics related to people’s requirements were discussed and Mr. Hegde promised he will try to solve as many issues as possible.
Dinner was served for all those attended the function by Fortune Boutique Hotel.
