Bantakal: Technical Talk on Space Technology at Engineering College

Bantakal, 26 November 2010: A Technical talk on Space Technology was held at Shri Madhava Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management College. The talk was organized by Shri Sodhe Mutt. The talk was on "Indian Space Technology and future prospective". Retired ISRO Scientist E. Janardhana conducted the talk and gave an informative presentation on space technology and the progress in India in the field of satellite launching to space until now. He also briefed on the satellite launching technology and our national capability in space launching and our country’s position in the international field, which interested the curious students.

 

 

Prof. S. K. Ashokh Kumar - Principal of  Shri Madhava Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management College presided over the function. Ratnakumar – Secretary of the Institution, Prof. N. Subrahmanya Rao and Prof. K. P. Rao were present.

 

Adhiti Baglodi Student leader compeered the program. Allen Jacob proposed vote of thanks.

 

 

Katpadi: Shrimad Anegundi Katpadi Branch Mutt Inaugurated

 

Katpadi, 26 November 2010: The Branch Mutt of Shrimad Anegundi Jagadguru Maha Sansthana Saraswathi Peeta, is inaugurated in Katpadi with various programs on Monday. The Mutt has been constructed with an approximate cost of 45 lakhs with the donations and help of Vishwakarma Samaj and the donors.

 

 

Shri Mutt is inaugurated by Shri Kalahasthendra Saraswathi Swameeji. On this occasion, President of Pratheestana Keshavacharya Mangalore, Renovation committee President Prakash Acharya Karkala, Sooryakumar Haleyangadi, P. V. Sundara Acharya Kaup and Kadabettu Nagaraja Acharya were present.
