Udupi, 24 September 2010: ITI students of Udupi district under the banner of Udupi ITI Students’ Forum took out a protest march to the office of the Deputy Commissioner to oppose the re-examination ordered by the government.
Speaking on the occasion President of the Forum Jeevan said that Government has ordered for conducting the re-examination of final year examination for ‘Workshop Calculations and Science’ subject in the second week of October.
He expressed apprehension that by the government order those students who already joined jobs would loose jobs and others who are touring in the neighboring states and in Gulf countries would not be able to write the exams. “With hardly 15 days left for the exams it is difficult to study the subject once again”, he said.
Forum Secretary Arun Kumar, ABVP activist Sharan and others participated in the protest.
