Kanajar Parishioners Celebrate Confraternity Sunday

Kanajar, 02 December 2013: Confraternity Sunday was celebrated on 1st December 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church Kanajar in preparation for the parish feast.

 

The Eucharistic Celebrations began at 8.45 am.  At the very beginning the 7th day Novena was conducted by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Dr. John Mendonca.

 

 

Rev. Fr. Henry Mascarenhas Estate Manager Udupi Diocese was the chief celebrant. He invited all the people to strengthen their faith, especially in their family life.

 

At the end of Mass, Eucharistic adoration was conducted and ceremonial procession was held from the church, passing through the streets and concluded at the church which filled with great reverence; it was followed by benediction. The parish priest appreciated the co-operation of all the parishioners and thanked them for their support.

 

He invited all the parishioners, relatives and friends to the Vespers and the Parish Feast to be held on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.
