Mangalore: BJP Mahila Morcha Protests against the Central Government’s policies

Mangalore, 05 Oct 2012: The BJP Mahila Morcha protested against the Central UPA Government for the increase in diesel and cooking gas prices in a press meet held on Thursday, October 4, 2012. The BJP Mahila Morcha strongly criticized the Central Government for restricting the subsidized gas cylinders at 6 per year.
The press meet was addressed by Mrs. Pulasya Rai, Presient of the BJP Mahila Morcha of DK District and her associates.

| Not to forget that the state government is taxing 16.75 per cent sales tax, 5 per cent surcharge and 5 per cent entry tax on diesel price. Out of the 5 Rs hike in the diesel price, 1.13 Rs is state tax. If the Government is so keen on reducing the diesel price, why cant they reduce the tax like GOA government did. | |
