This, all terrain vehicle means it is a four wheeled vehicle which can easily ascend and descend any kind of soil, sand, mud, rocks, pits, hills and mountains and can be used for adventurous activities. Already such vehicles are there in the foreign countries. But this Team Manipal Racing (TMR) students have developed based on the existing principles, giving it a outer design, constructed, tested, rectified the constraints and finally made this model ready. This took them one year and cost rupees 11 lakhs.
As per the team leader Sidhartha Singh this vehicle of 11 horse power is the lightest and strongest among the vehicles of its kind. During 2009 the TMR members of that year students had manufactured formula car and among the 152 competitors they secured on 97th position. In 2009 the TMR again secured 62nd position out of the 94 competitors.
