Sylvester Alva elected as new president of Bellevision-Oman

Muscat, 22 April 2012: On 12th April 2012, newly formed Bellevision Muscat committee for the year 2012 -2013 under the Presidentship  of Mr. Sylvester Alva had a fun filled get together at NTI, Alkuwair.

 

The party started with a prayer led by Mr. Valerian Lobo. Newly elected president Mr Sylvester Alva welcomed the new committee members and their Family, the representatives of Moodubelle, Kunthalngar, Pamboor and Kanajar Parishes were also present on the occasion. He thanked the outgoing President Mr. Edward mendonca and the last year’s committee for their work and also called upon the members to extend their support for the newly formed committee.

Another main theme of this get-together was to bid adieu to our ever supporting and active Mrs Judith Lobo and her family  who will be going back to Mangalore for good after her stay of 4 years in Muscat.  A small memento was presented to her and her family as a token of love.

 

On this occasion three more children of bellevision family Vishanth, Glenet and Gladson were also wished as they will be going back to India for further studies. Mrs.Eliza Sequeira who has come on visit was also welcomed on this occasion.

 

The entire evening was spent with interaction of various members. The crowed was entertained by dances by the children; similarly games for the children and the adult were conducted by Mrs, Felcy Frank, Miss Glenda Castalino and Mr Edward.

 

 

Everyone enjoyed the traditional Mangalorean dinner prepared by a team of members lead by Mr.  Ignatius Lobo. Following dinner the group gathered for a Housie Housie Game. Prize Distribution was held for the winners of the games.

 

The DJ for the evening was Ivor D’Souza, Programme concluded with Vote of thanks by Mrs. Felcy Frank the Vice president who thanked all the organisers and members for their support and help given to conduct this event.
