Bellevision Muscat families cherishes annual picnic at Barka farm

Muscat/Sultanate of Oman, 07 Dec 2014: Bellevision Muscat organized annual picnic for the members and their families at a farm in Barka, about 60 kilometers from here on Friday November 28.

 

The families gathered at the farm on Friday at 10.00am and after breakfast and registration began.  Over 80 adults and children partaken in the daylong event.

 

Bellevision Muscat president Monthu Martis welcomed the gathering and wished them pleasant and joyful day.

 

The key organizer Lawrence Noronha took over the charge by forming 4 groups Pink, Green, Yellow and Blue and nominated 3 jurors for the games.

 

Several games were held wherein groups participated with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement.  It was truly a fun-filled day for all the young and the old.

 

 

The programme also included the celebration of the birthdays of Ignatius Lobo’s sons Roshan and Roshwel by cutting a cake (the actual birthdays were within the same week).

 

Two hours break was then announced for individual relaxation, refreshments and swimming.

 

Delicious Mangalorean lunch was served to the gathering.  As soon as lunch was over the teams were led into fun games which apparently helped the participants to digest the lunch.

 

After housie-housie game, for which gifts were sponsored by Monthu Martis, the picnic was concluded with price distribution and vote of thanks by Loyal Aranha.
