Muscat: Bellevision Oman organized joyful get-together

Muscat, 11 October 2011: Bellevision Oman members organized a get-together at National training Institute Ghala at 8.00pm on Thursday, 06th October 2011. The celebration began with a prayer led by Dr. Judith Lobo followed by a warm welcome by the President Mr. Edward Mendonca. This get together was organized mainly to bring together and know the family members of Belle, Pamboor, Kuntalnagar and Kanajar parishioners having membership at Bellevision in Muscat.
Mr. and Mrs. Benedict Noronha who has come down to Oman on a short visit, were welcomed on this occasion. Mr. Benedict also gave an inspiring speech addressing the gathering and shared his views with the members and their families. The new members and their relatives, who had come to Oman on visit, were also welcomed.
There were fun filled activities such as games for children and adults were conducted by Edward Mendonca and Glenda Castelino. The Housie-Housie entertained the entire crowd comprising of both the adult and the children who had chances to win many prizes. The children also came forward and entertained the crowd with their mind blowing dances performance. Mr. Lawrance Alva and Mr. Lawrence Prakash Noronha entertained the crowd with some lovely numbers.
The games was followed by finger licking buffet dinner prepared by the members with traditional items such as sanna, pork masala, chicken curry, sono, salad, pulao and sweet vorn. The get togather finally winded up with traditional ‘baila’ dance by the members. The programme ended with a vote of thanks.
The Cultural and Catering in charge Mr. Sylvester Alva, Mr. Monthu Martis and Mrs. Philomena organized and coordinated the entire program plan and made all the necessary arrangements for this successful get together.
We also would like to inform to all the members of Belle, Pamboor, Kuntalnagar, Kanajar and their families that, we will be conducting our Annual picnic on Friday 4th of November 2011. Kindly contact Mr. Sylvester Alva or any of the Bellevision Oman Committee members and register your names and do come with your family and friends.

| It is a wonderful event and I thank the organizers namely Mr and Mrs Edward Philomena Mendonca, Sylveter Alva and all other office bearers, who made my presencemade memorable. It is a great involvement by the Bellevision memebrs at Oman and very rejoiceful. Mr Arun Rodrigues has made it still unique by his photography and write up. I thank all and wish that the Lord bless them abundantly in their work , profession and the spirit of brotherhood shown by them. It is said that Bbrotherhood of man transcends the Sovereignity of Nations .Like wise the members of Belle, Kanajar, Kuntala Nagar and Pambur Parishes(Churches) working at Muscat Oman, joining together under the banner of Bellevision Oman is great and the report amplify it. There is a great mind behind this event and I find Mr Lawrence Alva [CEO-NTI]at Oman . He is ably supported by the officbearers and the roll of Mr Sylvester Alva cannot be forgotten. Long live this organization and may God bless them and their families abundantly for a rejoiceful and mutually cooperative living at Oman, a home away from Home . good Luck.
