The wait is finally over! Mangalore Konkans has officially announced that this year’s Family Fiesta will be held on December 7, at the Sharjah Wanderers Ground, and the excitement is higher than ever.
This year’s event is set to be an unforgettable one, as Goa’s Number 1 band, Black in White, will be gracing the stage to deliver a high-energy performance. A message from the president: The newly elected president, Stephen Menezes, along with his dedicated team, is working diligently to prepare for this mega event. About Mangalore Konkans: Mangalore Konkans Dubai, established in 1988, is dedicated to promoting Konkani language and culture among the Mangalorean diaspora in the UAE. Over the years, the organization has worked tirelessly to preserve and celebrate Konkani traditions, while also providing financial support to the Mangalorean community in Dubai and the Dakshina Kannada district. Mangalore Konkans Dubai was the only association to be affiliated with the Indian Community Welfare Committee (ICWC).
Mangalore Konkans has earned significant recognition for its contributions to the preservation and enrichment of Konkani culture. In 2010, the association was honored with an award from the President of India, Prathiba Patel, at the World Konkani Conventions Ekta Divas, in acknowledgment of their valuable contributions.

• In 2013, they initiated the fire of Benevolence project, distributing Rs.45 lacs to institutions that serve the aged and destitute, regardless of caste, creed, or religion.
• They also contributed several dialysis machines for the benefit of poor kidney patients and extended help for kidney transplants.
