Mayuravarma Cultural Foundation completes 15th annual convention

Mumbai, Feb. 15: When there is honesty, devotion and care along with hard work, every social work done by organizations becomes meaningful. In that regard, Mayura Varma Cultural Foundation is a model. It is commendable that such an organization is celebrating its 50th annual convention in a meaningful way, said Kannada Kala Kendra President T.R. Madhusudan.
Last Sunday afternoon, the Mayura Varma Cultural Foundation organized its fifteenth annual conference at the Sector Mehta College auditorium in Airoli, Navi Mumbai. T.R. Madhusudan presided over the function and spoke.
Shri Ambika Annapoorneshwari Mandir Vidyavihar Chief Priest Ve| Moo| Pernankila Haridas Bhat was the chief guest, literary lawyer Amita S. Bhagwat, Mehta College Airoli President V.N. Hegde, Principal Dr| B.R. Deshpande, Tulukoot Asalpa President Ramanath Kotian were the guests of honor.
The foundation’s ’Chakradhari’ award for the year 2025 was presented to Dr. Surendra Kumar Hegde, an achiever in the field of organization, senior stage, Yakshagana artist, and President of the Kannadiga Artists’ Council, and the "Krishi Bandhu" award was presented to agricultural achiever Umamaheshwar Hegde. Scholars Santosh Bhat Mudradi and Harish Hejmady delivered felicitation speeches.
He congratulated Pernankila Haridasa Bhat, who released the book "Tuluvaru in Horanadu", which is written by experienced authors on love for the mother tongue and organization, and said that the overall framework of the program was meaningful.
As part of the cultural program, women from Sri Geetambika Mandir, members of Dombivali Friends Swavalambana Kendra, children from Ghansoli Sri Mookambika Mandir, women members of Dombivali Havyak, women members of Rajaka Sangha Navi Mumbai and Ku| Kriti Chadaga and Ku| Delisha presented dance performances. Kodiadka Creation Mumbai presented the mythological play ’Suryaprabha’, based on the original story of Vishnu Bhat Hosmane and written by Vishwanath Dodmane and directed by Ashok Kumar Kodiadka.
The program, which was organized in full cooperation with Gyan Vikas Mandal Airoli and Tulukoota Asalpa, began with the prayer of Malathi Putran. Vice President of the Foundation Rajesh P. Gowda Sindoora, Treasurer Rajvarma Jain honored the guests by offering bouquets. Dr. G.P. Kusuma introduced the work. Vedavati Bhat and Uma Bhat read the honor roll. Suresh Shetty Kananjaru and Saroj Amati introduced the guests and compered the program. Secretary of the Foundation Vishwanath Dodmane welcomed the guests and Dodmane gave the introduction and proposed the vote of thanks.
