Shirva: St Mary’s Cricket Academy to be inaugurated on 6 Sep

Shirva, 04 September 2011; In order to promote the game of Cricket among the students of 10-12 years of age, under the sponsorship of St. Mary’s PU College Old Students Association “St. Mary’s Cricket Academy” will be inaugurated on Tuesday, 6 September 2011 at 2 pm in St. Mary’s College Hall.
The St. Mary’s Cricket Academy will be inaugurated by former Wicket Keeper of Indian team, Padmashree Syed Kiramni. Rev. Fr. Stany Tauro, Correspondent of St. Mary’s College will preside over the function. Pramod Madhvaraj, the eminent industrialist from Malpe and Glen Dias of Mandovi Association will be chief guests. Vijay Alva, former Mangalre University Cricket team Captain, Felix Andrade, Honorary President of the Old Students Association will also participate in the function. This information was given by Dr. Gururaj, President of Old Students Association and Mathias Lobo, Secretary of the Association.
