Beltangady: Yoga & Naturopathy has bright future - minister Viniay Kulkarni

Beltangady, 02 Jul 2017: SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic Science, Ujire, near here, observed Doctor’s Day, to mark the birth anniversary of Indian pioneer Bharat Ratna Dr B C Roy, on Saturday, July 1.

 

Karnataka state geology and mining minister Vinay Kulkarni was the chief guest of the occasion.

 

 

He said, ‘I am healthy because of naturopathy and I testify in this regard. If would be better to practice yoga postures daily to keep away from illnesses.’

 

Dr Eshwar N Acharya, joint advisor of Yoga unit of central Ayush ministry and yogic science research Center, said, ‘Doctors are highly respected in the society. Yoga and naturopathy is the remedy for the conditions of modern lifestyle-induced diseases.’

 

SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic Science Professor Dr Prashant in his presidential address lauded the sense of duty of Indian pioneer Dr B C Roy in serving patients.

 

Dr Shivaprasad Shetty, dean of Yoga division of BNYS College welcomed the gathering. The naturopathy dean Dr Sujata proposed vote of thanks. Associate Professor Dr Kiran Kumar Reddy of yoga compered the programme.
