Kanajar Parishioners Celebrated Parish Feast in Kuwait

Kuwait, 11 December 2010: Kanajar Welfare Association Kuwait, An association of Kanajarians residing in Kuwait celebrated their Parish Feast on 6th of December 2010. This feast is celebrated in Kuwait every year with the support of all the Kanajarian families residing in Kuwait and also in adoration of our patron, Our Lady of Lourdes.
Soon after the mass, in the evening at 7 pm, a get-together was held at the Village Inn restaurant, Kuwait. Guests in honor were Fr.John Hary D’souza, Parish priest of Our Lady of Arabia Church, Ahmadi, Kuwait, Fr. John Hary D’souza honored Mr. John D’Sa on behalf of KWAK, a well dedicated member of KWAK, is leaving Kuwait to settle with his family after working 22 years in Kuwait.
President Mr. Henry Britto welcomed all the guests in honor and the crowd. After the Welcoming ceremony, games were held for the children and the adults alike. The annual prize for the Lucky member of the year 2010 was won by Mrs. Ivy Saldanha. On the occasion two of the Kanajareans new arrived in Kuwait honor by founder member John D’Sa.
After the leisure games and prize distribution, tasty and delicious dinner was served to all.
The compeer for the evening, Mr. Edward D’Souza kept the spirit of the party lively and joyful with his jokes and entertaining comments and thanked the crowd on behalf of all the KWAK members. The event which lasted till late night was well appreciated by all and all the guests went home happily. The program was concluded with Mrs. Charlotte D’Souza’s vote of thanks.
