Udupi: Human Rights give dignity to an individual - Uday Shetty

Udupi, 14 Dec 2014: The human rights are essential that gives dignity to an individual. Meanwhile, one can lead better life by knowing his/her rights to experience liberty. The democratic values will be strengthened; the oppressed people will lead better lives, said Udupi district human rights Commission president Inna Uday Kumar Shetty.
Uday was the chief guest speaking during World Human Rights Day celebrations held at St Mary’s College, Shirva, near here on Saturday December 13.
The union government retired officer and advocate K Dejappa explained the importance of human rights and instances of its violation by PowerPoint presentation.
Professor Pascal D’Sa presided the programme.
The College human rights unit director Dr S Padmanabha Bhat welcomed the gathering. Professor Gopalakrishna Samaga proposed vote of thanks.

I would like to know the activities initiated by Human Right cells.I have a case wherein Church authorities have oppressed our rights of legal heirs of parental properties without the knowledge of Children entering into sales deed.Presently the case is in civil court.I request support from Human rights on this case for getting justice. |
