Bantakal: NSS Annual Special Camp Inaugurated

Bantakal, 02 November 2010: “NSS camp will provide the ample opportunity for the personality development and cultivates the nature of serving others, which helps in the improvement of education” said M. Balakrishna Nayak, President of Bantakal Sri Durgaparameshwari School Management Committee. He was speaking upon inaugurating the NSS camp of Innanje S.V.H. Pre University College at Bantakal School.

 

 

 

Dr. Ashok Kumar, Principal of Bantaka Sri Madhva Vadhiraja Technical Institute, in his speech said “The young generation can succeed if they adopt the teachings of Swami Vivekananda”. Bantaka School Headmaster B. Anantharama Bhat and Innanje P.U. College Principal Sathish N. expressed their best wishes.

 

Officer In charge of the camp Pundareekaksha Kodancha welcomed the guests and dignitaries.  The program was compeered by Lecturer U. Nandan Kumar. Vote of thanks proposed by Ganesh Bhat.

 

 

Kaup: Niveditha Jayanthi Celebrated

 

Kaup, 02 November 2010: Niveditha Jayanthi is celebrated at Kaup BJP Office. The celebration was organized by Kaup BJP Mahila Morcha. BJP President of Kaup constituency Kuthyar Naveen Shetty speaking on the occasion recalled Sister Nivedita’s social work, service to the less privileged, her collaboration with the people, understanding their difficulties and helping them solve their problems. She is the inspiration to today’s young generation, he said.

 

 

 

President of Kaup BJP Mahila Morcha Shambhavi Kulal presided over the function. Udupi: Pratheeksha Nithyanand wins first place in National Level Karate Competition

 

Hejamadi, Udupi, 02 November 2010: Kumari Pratheeksha Nithyanand of Hejamadi, Udupi District, has won the first place in the National level Karate competition 2010 – 11, which was conducted at R. N. Shetty Stadium, Hubli. She is the member of Udupi Kubudo Budakan Club.

 

 

 

Pratheeksha has also participated and bagged prizes in various District level and State level karate competitions previously. She is the daughter of Nithyananda and Rajeshwari of Hejamadi and studies in 8th standard at Mulki Narayana Guru English Medium High School.
