Beef Roast

Ingrediants:
- Beef - 2 kg
- Ginger - A large piece
- Garlic pods - 7 - 10 nos
- Black pepper (whole) - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 2 tsp
- Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Tomato paste - A large tomato blended in mixi
- Tomato sauce - 1 tsp
- Vinegar - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - As required
- Oil
Description:
Clean beef (boneless) and cut into small cubes and keep aside.
Make a paste of ginger, garlic, black pepper and 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder. Mix beef with this paste along with some salt.
Cook it well in a pressure cooker (apprx. 20 minutes). When its done, separate beef cubes from the gravy and keep aside.
Heat some oil in a non stick pan. :- Oil should not be very hot. Add coriander powder, chilly powder, 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder and garam masala. Saute it for a minute on a very low flame. When it turns light brown colour, add the gravy (separated from beef) and saute this for 2 or 3 minutes, till the oil starts to separate.
Add tomato paste, tomato sauce and vinegar one by one and saute again. When oil separates, add the cooked beef and stir it well. Cook this, till it becomes dry and dark brown.
