Mackerel Fish Curry

Ingrediants:
- 1kg mackerel cleaned cut into peices
- 1/2 grated coconut
- 10 red chillies
- 2 tablespoon coriander
- 1 tablespoon cumin seed
- 1/2 tablespoon mustard seed
- 1/4 tablespoon methi
- 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
- 30g tamerind
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 small piece ginger
- 3 green chillies
- 1 tomato
- 2 tablespoon coconut
- oil
- salt.
Description:
Roast red chillies, coriander, cumin, mustard, methi; allow to cool. Grind the spices, coconut, garlic and tamerind with 1cup of water to smooth paste. Heat coconut oil and frythe sliced onion for 2 minutes; add grinded masala and 3cup water; bring to boil.
Reduce the heat and add the fish, green chilly, sliced tomato, chopped ginger and simmer for 8 - 10 minutes. Serve with boiled rice.
