Ingrediants:
- Moong Dhal - 1/4 kg
- Rice Powder - 1/2 cup
- Coconut - 1
- Jaggery - 4-6 table sp.
- Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tea sp.
- Few cashew nuts, raisins
- Salt to taste
Description:
Grind grated coconut and squeeze thick coconut juice (milk). Add little water to the ground coconut and extract thin coconut juice and keep aside.
* Mix raw rice powder with little water and keep aside.
* Heat 1 table sp. oil and fry cashew nuts and raisins.
* Cook dhal in little water till soft. Add jaggery, thin coconut juice and salt. Bring this to a boil. Add fried cashew nuts and raisins. Then, slowly add raw rice batter and stir continuously so that no lumps form. Bring this to a boil, till the mixture thickens.
* Finally add thick coconut juice, keep stirring and close after a boil. Add cardamom powder, stir and take out from the heat.
