Paalak Paneer

Ingrediants:
- 250 gms Spinach (Paalak)
- 2 Onion (Chopped)
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 2 green chillies (grounded)
- 2 tbsp oil (or butter)
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
- 250 gms fried paneer
- 3-4 tblsp cream.
Description:
Wash and clean spinach. Cut into big pieces. Add a pinch of salt steam till it is completely wilted.
Remove from heat and cool. Make a soft paste of spinach in a blender.
Heat oil and add ginger, garlic, green chilly paste and chopped onions, saute till light brown. Add diced tomato and stir. Add salt, red chilli powder and haldi. Mix well.
Add paalak then add fried paneer cubes. Boil for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with cream. Sprinkle the finely chopped green coriender. You can soak fried paneer in warm water for 10 mnutes before adding to the spinach. This yields softer cubes.
