Bantwal: Infosys donates 125 computers KPT, Bantwal under Vidya Setu Project

Bantwal, 06 Mar 2022: At the joint aegis of Rotary Club, B C Road City, Rotary Club Bantwal Loretto Hills and Rotary Club Uppinangady and in collaboration with Infosys Technologies, 125 computers were presented to Karnataka Polytechnic (KPT), Bantwal on Saturday March 5.
Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik Ulipadyguttu after handing over the computers said that Indian education is of top quality. The nation is advancing in progressive path at the leadership of PM Modi who was successful in bringing back 18,000 Indian students amidst Ukraine – Russian conflict. The positive thinking leads one to achieve success in life, said MLA.
KPT – Bantwal principal Usha Naik presided the programme.
Rotary district assistant governor Surendra Kini, zonal secretary Jayaram Rai, zonal commandant Avil Menezes, Rotary B C Road City GSR Padmanabha Rai, KPT registrar Ophelia D’Souza, Rotary Club Uppinangady president Niraj were present at the dais.
In his preliminary address, Rotary Club - Loretto Hills president Raghavendra said that the computers are provided at the collaboration of Infosys under Vidya Setu Project. Computers are essential in the present education system in order to realize PM Modi’s push for Digital India.
Rotary Club B C Road City president K Satish Kumar welcomed the gathering. Rotary Club – Loretto Hills secretary Ramesh Nayak compered the programme. The lecturer Mohan N proposed vote of thanks.
