Bantwal: Progressive farmer commits suicide by jumping into waters at Panemangaluru

Bantwal, 30 Jan 2022: A progressive farmer committed suicide by jumping from minor bridge linking Panemangaluru with Nandavar, near here on Saturday, January 29.

 

Sixty-year-old Devappa Madivala, native of Madivalapadpu in the limits of Sajipamunnoor gram panchayat is the unfortunate to commit the suicide.

 

 

He was a member of the governing council of Subramanya temple, Mugulya, near here and a progressive farmer.

 

He left home early Saturday morning and jumped into the waters at the minor bridge at Panemangaluru.

 

The locals observed the incident and informed town police who retrieved the body with the help of locals. 

 

Bantwal town police registered a case in this regard. The exact reason for committing suicide is unknown.
