Changes made to traffic flow in Udupi

Udupi, Feb 22 : Bowing to pressure from the public and merchants around Car Street, the district administration changed the traffic flow on several roads here on Monday. The changes come into force with immediate effect.

 

Deputy Commissioner P. Hemalatha issued a notification in this regard.

 

Accordingly, the Mitra Juntion to Ideal Junction road, the Novelty Junction to Mangalore Jewellers road, the Anugraha Hotel to Airody Jewellers road, the Corporation Bank to Gurukripa Studio road and the Abharana Junction to Badagupete road, which were all one-way hitherto, have become two-way.

 

The Sanskrit College-ACC Complex-North School Side road remains one-way. Vehicles will have to move one-way from Sanskrit College to ACC Complex and then turn towards North School.

 

The Badagupete to Kalsank road will henceforth be one-way from Kalsank to North School through Badagupete. One-way has been imposed on the stretch from Woodland Cross to Ideal Junction through Tenkapete and Woodland Hotel to Woodland Cross up to Tenkepete road.
