Kundapur: Congress holds Party activists convention ahead of LS Polls

Kundapur, 17 Feb 2014: The Congress activists convention ahead of forthcoming LS polls was held in the presence of MP Jayaprakash Hegde, Udupi district president K Gopal Poojary, Kundapur block Congress president Malyady Shivaram Shetty and veteran Congressmen at Narayn Guru auditorium, here on Sunday February 16.
Addressing the gathering of party activists, MP Jayaprakash Hegde said that he has fulfilled most of the assurances including railway facility after being elected as MP, said MP Hegde. He also motivated the party men to convince the voters in explaining his fulfillment of assurances to solicit for votes with the voters.
Gopal Poojary said Congress-led state administration has regained the trust of people of Karnataka which would be the stepping stone to get majority of seats for Congress in the forthcoming LS polls.
Poojary and MP Hegde discussed the strategies that ought to be followed by the Congress party men on the occasion.
