Kundapur: Installation Ceremony of Kalavar & Asodu SHGs Federation Held

Kundapur, 1 Dec 2013: The installation ceremony of self-help-groups Federation of Kalavara, Asodu A and B, promoted by Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) was held at Sunnariya Venkatesh auditorium, near here on Saturday November 30.

 
Asodu Raviraj Shetty after inaugurating the programme said that one can develop better personality by actively involved self-help-groups and social welfare activities.

 

 
Kalavar gram panchayat president Vakwady Satish Poojary in his presidential address urged self-help-groups members to come to mainstream of society.

 
SKDRDP coastal regional office director Mahaveer Azri, Kundapur women police station sub-inspector Sujata, taluk panchyat member Deepak Kumar Shetty, SKDRDP project officer Hemalata Hegde, Basroor zonal president Ganesh Mogaveer were the chief guests present.

 
The installation ceremony of new office bearers was held on the same occasion.

 
The Federation president Prabhakar Acharya, Sandeep Shettigarm vice president Jagannat, Shekar Poojary, Manjunat, Suresh Devadiga, Raghuram, Nagaraj Shettigar and otehrs were present at the occasion.  

 
Jyoti and Supriya introduced the guests.  Rashmi rendered the prayers.  Vanita and group sang the self-help-groups song.  Prakash Acharya welcomed the gathering.  Basroor zonal overseer Harish Kumar compered the programme.  The service representative Shekar proposed vote of thanks.
