M’lore: DC N Prakash instructs Officers to Expedite Development Works in Naxal Affected

Mangalore, 30 Nov 2013 : The development works that are undertaken under naxal affected development programmes in Beltangady taluk had to be completed at the earliest, advised Deputy Commissioner (DC) N Prakash.

  
 
 
DC Prakash was speaking during the progress review meeting held at his chamber here on Friday November 29 related to development programmes that are underway in naxal affected regions.

 

 

 
He instructed the department officers to take up the works that are already approved and to complete the ongoing works without delay, said DC Prakash.

 
 
All the development works are underway in Beltangady taluk, the minor works on building culverts on a few roads that were approved already are going on slowly which ought to be completed by December 31, instructed DC Prakash.   He also advised them to maintain quality that would be ascertained by higher officials of district administration, advised DC Prakash.

 
 
The zilla panchayat CEO Tulasi Maddineni, SP Shantanu Sinha, ADC Dayanand K A, ASP Shivakumar and other department officers were present on the occasion.
