Least Developed Byndoor Constituency, Developed in My 3 Terms; Gopal Poojary

Kundapur, 25 Apr 2013: In my three-terms as MLA of Byndoor legislative assembly constituency that was the least developed in Udupi district , it got the status of taluk center that was upgraded to special Tahsildar’s office, office of block education officer, MESCOM sub-division, government hospital and many basic amenities, said Byndoor MLA K Gopal Poojary.

 

 

Addressing the media persons during the press meet held here on Wednesday April 24, Gopal Poojary said that it was during his term that linking bridges were constructed in the remote islands at Badakere, Bagwady, Hayyangaru, Basriberu, Yedamoge and other remote villages, said Gopal Poojary.  At the backdrop of BJP’s allegations that he has not taken interest for undertaking development works in his constituency, he clarified with the above statement.   

 

The public meetings were held in different localities while cine star Ramya, Congress veteran leaders Siddaramaiaha, B Janardhan Poojary and other local leaders are likely to join in election campaign, said Gopal Poojary.
