Mangalore: Congress Candidates J R Lobo, Mohideen Bava, U T Khader win Assembly Elections

Mangalore, 8 May 2013: J R Lobo, Congress candidate of Mangalore south constituency won the assembly elections with a margin of 10,100 votes.
Mohideen Bava, Congress candidate of Mangalore north constituency won with a margin of 2,000 votes.
U T Khader, Congress candidate of Mangalore constituency also won with a margin of 29,000 votes.

Good that exit polls predictions for Mangalore North and South constituencies proved wrong. The challenge by newcomer SDPI and established left-leaning forces in both constituencies did not stop Bava and Lobo. That is great team work by Congress leadership and ward level cadre in this district. |
