SSLC, PU results on May 6, 7

Bangalore, 05 May 2010: Results of the State SSLC examinations will be announced on May 6, while the II Pre-University results will be out the next day.

The SSLC results will be available from 2 pm onwards at all high schools in the State and the II PU results will be announced in colleges on May 7, an official press release from the Education Department said.

Both SSLC and II PU results will be announced on the department’s and other websites a little earlier. While the SSLC results will be announced on web portals on the morning of May 6, II PU results will be available on websites from the evening of May 6.

Meanwhile, the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will be making arrangements for the dissemination of SSLC results through its IVRS and SMS services. Students can access the results by dialling 1255225 on both BSNL landline and mobile phones.

Results can also be accessed by sending an SMS KAR10 “Registration No” to 56505. The calls will be charged at Rs 5 a minute. Each SMS will also cost Rs 5.

The Pre-University Department will reopen its student helplines on May 5. The helpline will be operational until May 7 between 3 pm and 5 pm.  Students can reach department authorities to clarify doubts pertaining to the announcement of results and other details.
